Changelog
What's new in ZeroBot.
Every release, newest first. The same notes are posted in the support server.
v2.12.0Latest
Hand a ticket to the AI
Staff can now hand an open ticket to Ticket AI with /aihandover, and take it back any time.
- /aihandover: use it inside an open ticket and ZeroBot AI takes over. It reads the ticket so far, tells the member it is helping now, and answers their last message if nobody has yet. Also at /ticket aihandover.
- Works on every ticket: also on panels where Ticket AI is off, and on tickets the AI already passed to staff.
- A private note: add a short note for the AI, like "they need help with the verify step". The member never sees it.
- Same as an AI-first ticket: the This solved it and I need a staff member buttons, one staff ping when a person is needed, and the same daily Ticket AI replies for your plan.
- Taking it back: write in the ticket, press claim or Take over, or use /ticket aitakeback. The AI steps back at once, so it never answers at the same time as a person.
- Logged: the handover goes in your ticket log channel and on the ticket's history page. No DMs.
For server owners
- Only staff can use it: the same people who can claim and close tickets.
v2.11.1
A faster dashboard
The dashboard's server list loads in a moment again, even right after a ZeroBot restart.
- Server list and sign-in: ZeroBot now looks only at the servers you are in instead of every server it is in, so pages that waited on the list open straight away.
- Remembered across restarts: what ZeroBot learned about your servers survives a restart, so the first load after an update is fast too.
- Lists that are only shown (the server switcher, the Premium pages) appear at once and refresh quietly in the background. Every change is still checked live.
v2.11.0
Your free trial starts when you set up
The 5 free days of ZeroBot Plus now begin when you set ZeroBot up, not the moment it joins, so they fall when you are actually trying it.
- Starts with your setup: the trial begins with the 1-minute setup, your first setting saved on the dashboard, or /config and /import.
- You see when it starts: the Get started card in your server updates to show the end date, and the dashboard's Overview says it too. No DM.
- Still once per server and per server owner. You can also start it any time from your server's Premium page.
v2.10.0
Setup time and a clearer start
Nuke protection now gives you a calm first day while you build your server, and ZeroBot tells you when another bot removed it.
- Setup time for nuke protection: for the first 24 hours after you add ZeroBot, you and your setup bots are not stopped while you build the server. ZeroBot posts one note saying what it let through and until when. Checks on dangerous permissions, the bot role and your vanity URL still work from the first second. There is a switch on the Nuke protection page.
- Removed by another bot? If a security bot kicks ZeroBot the moment it joins, your server list now says so, names the bot and tells you how to let ZeroBot in. Your free trial is no longer used up by that.
- When your free Plus trial ends, the Get started card says so and shows how to keep Plus, without a new message or ping.
- Undo changes, explained when it matters: when nuke protection stops someone deleting channels or roles, the alert says that Undo changes can put them back, but only if it was on before.
- New dashboard look: the dashboard pages are now near-black with quiet glass and smooth mouse-wheel scrolling. Prefer the flat look? Pick Simple under Appearance.
v2.9.0
Encrypted data and no more online status
Everything ZeroBot stores about your server is now encrypted, and ZeroBot no longer reads anyone's online status. Two ticket switches that needed it are gone.
- Encrypted storage: levels, cases, tickets and transcripts, backups, the message backup, audit logs and the pictures you upload on the dashboard are all stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). Nothing changes in how you use them.
- No online status: ZeroBot no longer asks Discord for members' online status or what they are playing, and stores none of it.
- Ticket assignment: the Only online staff switch is gone. New tickets are now shared among all staff of the ticket's teams.
- Ticket AI: the Only while no staff member is online switch is gone. Ticket AI now follows only the hours you set.
- Command Center: the members tile shows your total member count instead of how many are online. The voice count stays.
- Privacy policy: updated to say stored data is encrypted.
v2.8.0
New picture cards
Welcome, level-up, rank and giveaway picture cards have a new look that matches the new dashboard. Nothing to set up: your cards switch over on their own.
- New look: a dark glass card with a soft glow in your card colour, a ring around the avatar, the name in a bold display face and a clean progress bar on rank and level-up cards.
- Your settings stay: card colour, background picture and its darkness, text colour, layout, avatar shape, edge, font and your own lines all work as before, now in the new look.
- Long names fit: a long name is set smaller instead of running off the card.
- Server icon: on Plus and up, your server's icon sits on the card as a small glass tile, or on the avatar's edge on rank cards.
- Studio preview: the card preview on the dashboard shows the new look, exactly as Discord will get it.
- Steadier ghost ping and log lookups: ZeroBot no longer asks Discord for the audit log on servers where it may not read it, which keeps it clear of Discord's limits.
v2.7.1
Join roles you can count on
Join roles now reach members that used to slip through, and when ZeroBot cannot give one, it tells you which role and how to fix it.
- No more silent skips: a join role ZeroBot cannot give (above its role, its own role, deleted, or no Manage Roles) is named with the fix, once a day in your log channel and in ZeroBot's permission check.
- Caught up within minutes: a member who joined while ZeroBot was restarting, or during the join role delay, gets their roles in the next ten minutes.
- Verified elsewhere: with Set Autoroles Instead on, a member who gets the verified role from staff, Discord's onboarding or another bot now gets the join roles too.
- Rules screening: members in Discord's rules screening get their join roles as soon as they accept the rules, whatever the screening switch says.
v2.7.0
Easier first minute
/help offers the one-minute setup on a server that is not set up yet, a test server gets a quick way to add ZeroBot to your main server, and /help shows how votes give you Premium time.
- Set up from /help: on a server where ZeroBot is not set up yet, /help shows the Set up in 1 minute button to members with Manage Server. Only you see it.
- Testing first? On a small server the Get started card has an Add to my main server button, so you can try ZeroBot there and then add it where your members are.
- Votes in /help: each vote for ZeroBot on a bot list gives you Premium credit, and /help now says so with the link.
- Standard cards: the free welcome and level-up picture cards show a small ZeroBot link underneath. Plus and up keep their own cards without it.
v2.6.0
See what ZeroBot did for you
The Overview shows what ZeroBot did on your server in the last 30 days, the weekly report has the same line, and referrals now pay a month when a server you brought buys a plan.
- What ZeroBot did: a new Overview card counts the last 30 days on your server: raids and nuke attempts stopped, automod and AI moderation actions, tickets, members welcomed, backups. Only real counts, and only what actually happened.
- Weekly report: the Monday report has the same 30-day line.
- Referral bonus: when a server you referred buys a ZeroBot plan and keeps it for a week, your server gets 30 more days of Premium, on top of the usual referral reward.
- Launch prices: a small countdown shows how long the launch prices last (until 30 November). You can close it.
- Fewer repeats: when you hit a free limit, the buttons to try or get a plan show once a day per limit, not every time.
- Trial ending: when a free Plus trial ends, one short note in your server's log channel says what Plus did and that your settings stay. Never a DM, never a ping.
v2.5.0
Writing check on applications
Every staff application now shows reviewers how likely it was written by the applicant or pasted from an AI chatbot, as a percentage with a confidence and the reasons.
- Writing check: the application card in your reviewers' channel reads "Likely self-written 86%" or "Likely AI-written 74%", with low, medium or high confidence and two or three short reasons.
- Typing speed: ZeroBot notes how long each answer box was open. A long answer that arrived in a few seconds was pasted, and that weighs most.
- The text itself: typos and casual spelling point to a person; long dashes, stock phrases and answers that all look the same point to a chatbot.
- AI read: a quick AI opinion is added within a daily limit (30 a day free, 300 on Plus, Pro and Ultra). On its own it can never push the result past 80% either way.
- Reviewers only: applicants never see it, nothing is sent by DM, and it never accepts or denies anyone. It is an estimate, not proof.
- Dashboard: Applications has a switch for it (on by default) and a list of the latest applications with their result.
v2.4.5
Plans in your language
ZeroBot AI's plan steps and progress lines follow the language you write in, and plan cards in the chat are wide enough to read.
- Plan steps in your language: steps like "Rename #general to #chat" and their "Now / After" lines were always English. They now follow the language of your message, in all eight languages.
- Progress in your language: the lines while ZeroBot AI works ("Designing channels", "Turned on Giveaways", "Ready") are translated too.
- Readable plan cards: on the ZeroBot AI page the chat column was so narrow that plan steps wrapped after almost every word. The chat is wider now and channel names stay on one line.
v2.4.4
Short requests in the right language
ZeroBot AI answers short commands in the language you wrote them in, and channel logs no longer drop long topic changes.
- Short commands, right language: a short German request like "benenne #general in #chat um" was sometimes answered in another language. ZeroBot AI now reads common command words in all eight languages.
- Channel logs: changing a very long channel topic made the whole log entry fail. Long values are now shortened so the change is always logged.
- Help texts: the ZeroBot AI page and the FAQ now say it answers in all eight dashboard languages, not four.
v2.4.3
ZeroBot AI designs in your language
The notes and warnings next to a ZeroBot AI design now show in the language you write in.
- The plan in your language: the line that sums up a design (what it keeps, renames, moves, archives and deletes) now shows in the language you wrote in.
- Warnings in your language: the reasons a channel or role stays or goes, the warnings about roles with members, and the notes on dangerous powers are translated too.
- All eight languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Turkish, the same ones ZeroBot AI answers in.
v2.4.2
ZeroBot AI fixes
Live changes through ZeroBot AI work again in every language, the chat follows the server you switch to, and the sidebar stops opening random groups.
- Live changes work again: asking ZeroBot AI to change your server right now failed with "something went wrong while planning". It works again, in any language.
- Eight languages: ZeroBot AI now answers in Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Turkish too, alongside English, German, French and Spanish.
- The chat follows your server: after switching servers, ZeroBot AI opens that server's own chat and reads that server, not the one you came from.
- A calmer sidebar: after a reload or a server switch, only the group of the page you're on is open.
v2.4.1
Your plan's name on the server list
The server list now says Plus, Pro or Ultra instead of just Premium, and Premium from us comes with its plan.
- Plan names on the server list: each server's card shows its plan, Plus, Pro or Ultra, instead of a plain Premium.
- Premium from the ZeroBot team names its plan: a server we give Premium to (a partner deal, a creator reward) gets exactly the plan we picked, with that plan's limits.
- Nothing changes for paid plans: a plan you bought stays as it is, and the higher of a bought plan and one from us always counts.
v2.4.0
Support access: let our team look, only when you say so
Make a short-lived code on the dashboard and the ZeroBot team can see your setup read-only while they help you in a ticket.
- Support access: open the dashboard's Help menu (the question mark), Support access, and make a code. Give it to the team member helping you in your ticket.
- Read-only: with the code the team sees ZeroBot's settings for that server, the setup check and recent setting changes. They cannot change anything.
- Never your members' messages: messages are never shown, and secrets such as tokens and webhook links stay hidden.
- 30 minutes, your call: a code works for 30 minutes and only for that server. Withdraw it at any time and the look ends at once.
- See who looked: the same page lists who looked in the last 30 days, when, and the reason they gave.
- Faster help in tickets: on our support server the team now sees which plan your servers are on and whether ZeroBot spots a setup problem, so you explain less. Dashboard links in a reply open your server on the right page.
v2.3.0
Deleted channels come back with their messages
Undo changes can now keep a message backup, so a deleted channel comes back with the conversation in it.
- Message backup in Undo changes: switch it on and ZeroBot keeps the messages of your public channels as they are posted, with the author's name and avatar, replies, embeds and pins.
- Restore messages: when Undo changes or Nuke protection makes a deleted channel again, press Restore messages and the conversation is posted back in order under each author's name.
- Nuke protection does it by itself: after a nuke, the channels it puts back get their messages too, and the alert says so.
- Deleted means deleted: a message someone deletes is removed from the backup at once. Purged messages are kept but left out of a restore unless you ask for them.
- Your choice of channels: staff, log, ticket, NSFW and private channels are left out unless you pick them. Small images are copied too if you want.
- Limits: Plus keeps 300 messages per channel for 7 days, Pro 1,000 for 30 days, Ultra 2,000 for 90 days. Switching it off deletes everything it kept.
- Nobody gets pinged: restored messages never ping anyone, and the restore can be stopped and picked up again.
v2.2.2
Safer ZeroBot AI changes
ZeroBot AI only carries out a plan made for your server as it is now, and Undo never rolls back newer changes.
- Only the newest plan: asking ZeroBot AI something new closes the older plans in the chat. An old plan can no longer be carried out by mistake.
- 15 minutes: a plan can be carried out for 15 minutes after it is made, then ask again.
- Out of date plans stop: if a channel or role a plan changes was renamed, moved, given new permissions or deleted since, the plan does nothing and says what changed.
- Undo in the right order: a change can only be undone while no newer change touched the same channels, roles or settings. Undo the newer one first, or use Time Machine.
- Undo never overwrites: if something a change touched was edited since, or people posted in a channel it made, Undo stops and points you to Time Machine instead of deleting or overwriting.
- Setup page: the security score updates after each step, and what you set up on an earlier visit shows as already done.
v2.2.1
Names with umlauts
Channel and category names with umlauts and accents now keep their letters right when ZeroBot restyles them.
- Capital letters: restyling a category like SPRACHKANÄLE gave SprachkanÄLe. It now gives Sprachkanäle, in ZeroBot AI and in Server Rework.
- Bold and small caps: letters like ä, ö, ü and é stay in the chosen style instead of showing as a plain letter in the middle of the word.
- One rule for both: ZeroBot AI live edits and Server Rework now capitalise category names the same way, so a restyle looks alike in both.
v2.2.0
ZeroBot AI knows your server
ZeroBot AI now sees your whole server as it is, with every category, channel and who can use it, and can change what was there before it.
- Sees your layout: ZeroBot AI reads every category and channel in the order Discord shows them, and who can see and write in each one.
- Changes what is there: rename, move and reorder channels and categories, set a topic or slowmode, and make a channel follow its category again, just by asking.
- Keeps your style: "rename general to chat" turns 💬|general into 💬|chat, and new channels get the same emoji, separator and frames as the rest of your server.
- Make it look better: ask to restyle your channel names in one look, or to make them all match, with a list of every name before and after.
- Roles: rename a role, change its colour or show it apart in the member list. Permissions stay a separate, checked step.
- Delete only when asked: a channel is deleted only when you name it and ask, never Discord's own channels, and the plan warns that this cannot be undone.
- Knows ZeroBot: questions about what ZeroBot can do get the right feature and page, and nice looking messages are saved in the Message builder to edit later.
- Preview shows everything: a new design's preview now also shows the channels already on your server that stay as they are, with who can see them.
v2.1.2
Big bug sweep
A sweep through every feature: roles that never arrived, verification that got stuck, giveaways that never showed winners and protection that did too much or too little.
- Roles always arrive: join roles, level rewards, role menus and self roles skip a role that was deleted or sits above ZeroBot, instead of giving none of them.
- Verification never gets stuck: Verify works again after a ZeroBot restart, answers in time with many roles, and tells members to ask staff when the verified role cannot be given.
- Giveaways and suggestions: older cards show their winners and votes again, and scheduled giveaways work in announcement channels.
- Safer protection: the scam filter only bans for scam links in a live wave and never for big normal sites, ghost ping alerts no longer repost what moderation removed, and a nuking bot is kicked.
- Lockdown: locking twice no longer breaks the unlock, and unlock gives every role back exactly the permissions it had.
- Moderation: the mod queue checks role order like /ban does, and a temp ban that staff replaced by hand is never lifted by the old timer.
- Nothing lost: reminders survive a short Discord hiccup, bump reminders find a channel, social alerts keep your dashboard changes and never post twice.
- Smaller fixes: reaction roles refuse text that is not an emoji, boost thanks fire only for new boosts, temp roles always come off, long panels and the coins shop fit Discord's limit.
v2.1.1
Tickets always open
Tickets open again on panels whose staff role or ticket category was deleted.
- Deleted staff role: a panel whose staff team still listed a deleted role could not open tickets at all. The deleted role is now skipped and every other staff role still gets access.
- Deleted category: when a panel's ticket category is gone, the ticket opens without a category instead of failing. Pick a new category in the panel settings to put tickets back in one.
- Tier tests and temp voice: the same fix keeps tier test channels and temporary voice channels from failing in the same way.
v2.1.0
Get started faster
Get started faster: a one-minute setup right in Discord, a clear start card, and a warning when ZeroBot's role is too low to do its job.
- One start card: when ZeroBot joins, it posts one short card instead of two long ones, with Set up in 1 minute, Open dashboard and Ask Zero.
- Set up in 1 minute: pick Gaming community, Support server, Small friends server or Content creator community. ZeroBot shows every change first, then sets the welcome message, a private log channel, the automod basics, nuke protection and, for support servers, a ticket panel.
- Undo in one click: the quick setup never deletes anything or overwrites what you already set, and its Undo button puts every part back.
- Permission health: when ZeroBot's role sits below a role it is set to give, lacks Administrator, or cannot post in a channel it uses, one card says how to fix it, at most once a day and never again once fixed.
- On the Overview too: the dashboard's permission warning names the roles ZeroBot cannot hand out yet.
- Tell us what is missing: Not what you need? on the start card, and Is something missing? on the Overview in the first days, go straight to the ZeroBot team.
v2.0.3
Recommended in the sidebar
Recommended in the sidebar: ZeroBot's best features at the top, with what each one does. Hide it with one click.
- The best features first: ZeroBot AI, Server Builder, Tickets, Marketplace, Nuke protection, Card design and Game connections sit at the top of the sidebar, each with one line on what it does.
- Set up, at a glance: a small Set up tag shows on the ones your server has not set up yet.
- Tickets in three steps: the Tickets link opens the page with three short setup steps and a button for each.
- Hide it with one click: Hide sits next to the Recommended heading, and Show recommended at the bottom of the sidebar brings it back.
v2.0.2
Ticket close notes, and the servers that run on ZeroBot
The person who opened a ticket now learns who closed it and why, and the home page shows the servers that run on ZeroBot, a few at a time.
- Ticket close notes: the person who opened a ticket gets a short DM with who closed it and why (servers can turn it off on the Tickets page). Nobody else gets it, and never when they closed the ticket themselves.
- Servers that run on ZeroBot: the home page shows the servers that run on ZeroBot, a few at a time, with their icon, name and member count. Servers listed in Discord's Server Discovery show up too, and any server can join with the switch on its Public page.
- A clearer home page: the trust and privacy cards now say how fast a server is set up and that every change is logged, and the FAQ explains the one DM a member can get.
- Lower launch prices: ZeroBot Plus is $3.99 and Pro $7.99 a month until 30 November (then $4.99 and $9.99), 20% off. Ultra stays at $49.99 (then $69.99).
v2.0.1
Clearer names everywhere
Clearer names everywhere: help texts, the setup checklist and the support server now use the new feature names.
- Every page, one name: page titles, help texts, empty pages, tooltips and the setup checklist now say Nuke protection, Undo changes, Auto replies, Shared ban list and the other new names, in all 8 languages.
- In Discord too: ZeroBot's cards, notices, phone alerts and the support server's help cards use the same names.
- Old names still work: links stay the same, and Ask Zero knows the old names, so asking about Time Machine or Anti-Nuke still gets the right answer.
- Light mode fix: server initials in the server picker are readable again in light mode.
v2.0.0
ZeroBot 2.0: Interactions, your game servers in Discord
Connect your game servers to Discord on the new Game connections page. What happens in game shows up in your server, you see who is online right now, and staff can answer back into the game.
- Minecraft: every event with the free ZeroBot Link plugin, or the live status with no plugin at all, Java and Bedrock.
- FiveM and RedM: who is online straight from the server, and with the ZeroBot resource joins, drops, chat, deaths and your own events.
- Roblox: ER:LC through the official server API (players with team, callsign and vehicle, kills, commands, mod calls that ping your staff), and any Roblox game with the ZeroBot module. Members link their Roblox account with /game roblox-link, no Bloxlink needed.
- Steam games and Palworld: CS2, Rust, Garry's Mod, ARK, Valheim, DayZ, Unturned, 7 Days to Die, Arma 3, Squad and more show who is online and the map.
- A live card, and answers back: a status card that edits itself with the players and where they are (/game status, /game players), and staff send announcements, messages or kicks into the game (ZeroBot Pro).
- Plans: one connection is free with the live card, joins, leaves and online status. Plus adds 3 connections and every event, Pro 10 and messages into the game, Ultra up to 50.
- Also new: light mode and clearer names. A Light / Dark switch at the bottom of the sidebar, next to All servers and Log out, and features that say what they do, like Undo changes, Shared ban list and Staff inbox.
- Also new: servers that run on ZeroBot, and Halloween. The home page shows servers with 30+ members that chose to be listed (switch yours on under Public page), and the website wears cobwebs, spiders and jack-o'-lanterns until 31 October.
v1.26.0
Switch from about 100 bots, ghost ping alerts, voice roles and an AFK mover
Moving to ZeroBot now works from about 100 popular bots, Wick included, and three new member tools arrive: ghost ping alerts, voice roles and an AFK mover.
- Switch from about 100 bots: the import page knows about 100 popular bots and shows what ZeroBot can take over from each one. Besides AutoMod, reaction roles, levels, the join role, welcome and logs it now also takes the goodbye message, the giveaway, level-up, role and ticket log channels, the starboard, suggestions and birthdays.
- From Wick and other security bots: the verification channel and roles are filled in (you switch verification on yourself), trusted and whitelisted roles become bypass roles, and the quarantine role is shown.
- Ticket panels: a panel another bot posted becomes a ZeroBot draft with the same text, ready to post. Everything an import changes can be undone for 30 days.
- Ghost ping alerts: when someone pings and then deletes or edits the message, ZeroBot says who it was and what it said, in the channel or a log channel. The alert never pings anyone again.
- Voice roles: a role while a member is in a voice channel, has their camera on or is streaming, taken back when it stops. 3 rules free, 20 with ZeroBot Plus.
- AFK mover: members who are deafened, muted or alone for a while move to the AFK channel, and back when they return.
- Bypass roles: each new tool has its own, and an import also fills them in for AutoMod, the chat filter and anti-spam.
v1.25.2
Try ZeroBot Plus free
Every server that adds ZeroBot gets 5 days of ZeroBot Plus, once.
- Try ZeroBot Plus free: every server that adds ZeroBot gets 5 days of ZeroBot Plus, once. It starts by itself, and the welcome card in your server shows when it ends.
- Already using ZeroBot? Start your 5 free days on your server's Premium page, if your server has not had a trial yet.
- After the 5 days: the Plus features stop and your settings stay saved. Buy ZeroBot Plus through Discord to keep them. One trial per server and per server owner.
v1.25.1
ZeroBot Ultra costs less
ZeroBot Ultra is now $49.99 a month at its launch price, and $69.99 a month from 1 December.
- New Ultra price: $49.99 a month until 30 November, then $69.99 a month. It was $79.99, later $99.99.
- Same Ultra: everything Pro has, the biggest AI limits, 90 days of Time Machine, 30 daily backups and early access to new features.
- Plus and Pro stay the same: $4.99 and $9.99 a month at launch, then $5.99 and $11.99. ZeroBot Plus can still be tried free for 14 days.
v1.25.0
One look for every card, and picture cards with your server's name
Every ZeroBot card now has the same clean look, and the welcome, level-up and new giveaway winner picture cards can carry your server's name and icon. Personalising them is Premium.
- One look for every ZeroBot card: tickets, applications, verification, boards, reports, automod notices and rank cards now open with their own small icon and end on the same ZeroBot line, with no coloured edge.
- Picture cards with your server's name and icon: for welcomes, level-ups and the new giveaway winner card. Switch each one on in Studio.
- Personalising is Premium: your server's name and icon, colours, background, font and text lines need ZeroBot Plus or higher. Without it the cards use the standard ZeroBot design, and a design you saved comes back when Premium does.
- New in Studio: a font choice, the member count on or off, your own line on the level-up and giveaway cards, and the giveaway winner card with its live preview.
v1.24.2
Ask Zero, help on every page
Ask Zero: a small chat on every page of the website that answers questions about ZeroBot and helps with problems.
- Bottom right, everywhere: press Zero in the corner of any page of the website or the dashboard and ask about setup, a feature, Premium or a problem.
- Answers about ZeroBot only: it explains and links the right dashboard page, and points to the support server when a person is needed. It cannot change anything on your server.
- Private: chats are not saved, and it never asks for passwords or tokens. It speaks the website's language.
v1.24.1
Leveling switches and your own application positions
Leveling can now be turned off, or only its level-up messages, and applications can offer just the positions you want, under your own names, with the roles you pick.
- Leveling: switches to turn leveling or only its level-up messages off, and clearing a channel on any dashboard page now really clears it.
- Applications: choose which positions a server offers, its own name for each, and the role each one gives; with one position, Apply goes straight to the questions.
- Already on the team: with one position and its own role, someone who has that role is told they are on the team already instead of applying again.
- Holidays, loading and Zero: the website and dashboard dress up for the holidays from 15 days before each one (Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Easter), pages show their own shape while they load, and Zero keeps empty pages company.
- Contact: the contact address on every page is now contact@zeropvp.xyz.
- Try ZeroBot: everyone can now look around the demo server's dashboard. Nothing can be changed there, and members' data stays hidden.
v1.24.0
Try ZeroBot Plus free for 14 days
ZeroBot Plus can now be tried free for 14 days, and every plan is billed monthly by Discord from the first month. Where you hit a Premium limit, you can start the trial or buy the plan right there.
- 14 days of Plus, free: start it on your server's Premium page, no payment needed. When it ends, the Plus features stop and your settings stay. One trial per server and per server owner.
- Monthly from the first month: Plus, Pro and Ultra are bought and billed by Discord, every month. There are no yearly plans, and the first-months offer from earlier today is replaced by the trial (trials already started keep their end date).
- Buy where you need it: a Premium limit on a dashboard page, and `/summarize` or `/temprole` at their cap, now offer the trial and Discord's own buy button right there.
- Trial recap: in the last days of a trial, the Overview and the Premium page show what Plus did for your server, like AI replies in tickets and backups made, and when that stops.
- What members see: the Premium page shows your bot profile the way members see it in Discord.
- Launch prices until 30 November: Plus $4.99 (later $5.99), Pro $9.99 (later $11.99), Ultra $79.99 (later $99.99).
- Liquid glass on the dashboard: Liquid glass is off on the dashboard by default; the switch in the top bar turns it on there.
v1.23.3
Every plan starts with free months
ZeroBot Plus and Pro are free for the first 2 months, ZeroBot Ultra for the first 4. Start the trial on your server's Premium page, no payment needed.
- Free first months: Plus and Pro start with 2 free months, Ultra with 4. That is 17% off the first year on Plus and Pro, and 33% on Ultra.
- Start it yourself: the server's Premium page on the dashboard has a Start button for each plan. No card, no payment.
- Once: one free trial per server and per server owner.
- After the trial: buy the plan through Discord to keep it. If you don't, the server goes back to the free plan and nothing is deleted. The dashboard shows the end date a week before.
v1.23.2
Free Premium time ends in 3 days
Free Premium time on every server now ends 3 days after this update, and the dashboard shows each server the exact date. Nothing is deleted when it ends.
- The date on every page: a server whose free Premium is ending sees a banner at the top of the dashboard with the day it ends and a way to keep Premium.
- Nothing is lost: when it ends, your settings, panels and saved looks stay. Premium features pause and the free limits apply, until you pick ZeroBot Plus, Pro or Ultra.
- New servers: the 30 free days for servers that add ZeroBot have ended. The free plan has no time limit and runs a whole server.
- Still free: votes and referrals still add Premium time.
v1.23.1
Server Studio, a weekly report card and your look on every page
Server Studio shows how your server is doing, the way YouTube Studio shows a channel, ZeroBot can sum up each week in one card on Monday morning, and a look saved on the Appearance page now shows on every page.
- Server Studio: a new page under Stats and growth with members, net growth, joins, leaves, active members, messages and voice minutes, each with its trend against the period before and a small chart.
- Four tabs: Growth (joins and leaves, invite sources, who is still here after 1, 7 and 30 days), Engagement (messages, busiest channels, a weekday by hour heatmap in your timezone), Community (top chatters, level-ups, giveaways, events, starboard) and Moderation (automod, punishments, raids, tickets and reply times).
- Insights in plain words: short cards like "Your busiest hour is Friday 20:00" or a jump in joins after a partnership, worked out from your own numbers. Counts only, never what anyone wrote.
- Weekly report: switch it on in Server Studio and pick a channel. Every Monday morning ZeroBot posts one card with your security score, growth, activity against last week, the busiest staff, tickets and three tips with links. No pings, and a preview button to see it first.
- Plans: the overview and 28 days are free. Plus and Pro open every tab and 90 days; Ultra keeps a year and exports a CSV. The weekly report is free on every plan.
- Your look on every page: a look saved as the server default on the Appearance page now shows on every dashboard page straight away, with Liquid glass on or off. If you keep a custom view of your own, the Appearance page tells you, with a Follow the server default button.
- Switching servers: the dashboard now shows the look of the server you switched to, not the one you came from.
v1.22.2
Giveaways, ticket closes and the verification panel cope with refusals
The rest of ZeroBot's messages get the same checks as panels, and the dashboard says which channel needs a permission.
- Giveaways and server panels: the end of a giveaway and the standing panels are checked before they are sent, so a broken image link or an empty part no longer gets them refused.
- Ticket close: when ZeroBot cannot post the close message, the ticket is still closed and logged, and the channel goes after 5 seconds instead of waiting a minute for a rating nobody can give.
- Verification panel: if ZeroBot is not allowed to post in the verification channel, the dashboard now flags that channel and links to the Verification page.
- Clearer errors: when Discord refuses a message, the dashboard and the bot's own log show Discord's reason in one line, so the fix is easier to find.
v1.22.1
Panels with a broken image link post again
A typo in an image link no longer stops a panel or a welcome message from being posted, and a goodbye channel ZeroBot cannot reach is now flagged instead of failing quietly.
- Ticket panels: a panel whose image or thumbnail field held a link Discord could not read was refused as a whole, and the dashboard blamed the channel. The panel now posts without that image.
- Every panel: the same fix covers help centres, verification, role menus, forms, LFG, quest boards and Advanced Messages.
- Links tidied: a link pasted without https:// gets it added, and spaces in a link are encoded, so most typos still show the image.
- Welcome and goodbye images: a broken image link leaves the picture out and the message still goes out.
- Goodbye channel: when ZeroBot loses access to the goodbye, boost or role message channel, the Welcome page says so, and it posts there again as soon as access is back.
v1.22.0
ZeroBot Ultra, and a bolder website
A third paid plan for big servers, ZeroBot Ultra, joins Plus and Pro, and the public pages are split into clear colour chapters.
- ZeroBot Ultra: everything in Pro, with the highest limits: 10,000 AI moderation checks and 2,000 image checks a day, and several times Pro's caps on every AI tool. It opens for purchase soon, like Plus and Pro.
- More history: Ultra keeps 90 days of Time Machine, 30 daily and 30 manual backups and a year of setting history.
- Early access: new features can switch on for Ultra servers before they reach everyone.
- Priority phone alerts: on Ultra every alert wakes the phone at once and can repeat after 2 minutes instead of 10.
- Premium pages: the overview, the comparison, the checkout and a new Ultra page show all three plans, in your currency.
- Colour chapters: the home page, the features page and the Premium overview are divided into bold full-width colour bands, in both the glass and the classic look.
v1.21.4
Appearance works again, and Liquid glass on or off everywhere
Dashboard themes show again with the new glass look, and a Liquid glass switch on every page lets you pick glass or the classic look in one click.
- Appearance fixed: with the new glass look, a dashboard theme only changed the accent colour. Midnight, OLED black, Soft, High contrast and your own surface colours now show again, in the live preview and after saving, in both looks.
- Themes in glass: with glass on, your theme tints the see-through cards, the menus, the dialogs and the soft light behind the page, and switches and checkboxes take your accent colour.
- Liquid glass switch: turn glass on or off from the top bar of the dashboard and the staff panels, the website's bar and phone menu, or any footer. The page changes in a quick fade, without a reload.
- Remembered: your choice is saved in this browser for a year, so the next visit opens in the look you picked, with no flash of the other one.
- Appearance page: the glass or classic choice now sits below the theme editor and always matches the switch in the top bar.
- Every language: the switch speaks all eight dashboard languages.
v1.21.3
Premium prices in your currency
The Premium pages and /premium now show ZeroBot Plus and Pro in your own currency, at the price Discord charges where you live.
- Your currency: the Premium overview, the plan pages, the comparison and the checkout show the monthly price in euros, pounds, zloty, lira, reais and many more, picked from your language and region. These are Discord's own local prices, not a rough conversion.
- /premium in Discord: the card shows the prices in the currency of your Discord language, for example 4,99 € in German or £4.99 in British English.
- Clear small print: a short line under every price says that Discord shows the final price at checkout. Yearly plans are billed in US dollars, and the pages say so.
v1.21.2
Fixes for phone alerts, Raid Drill and the rules quiz
Three fixes from a full signed-in check of the dashboard: phone alert links open the right server, the Raid Drill page shows its report on its own, and a rules quiz without questions works the same everywhere.
- Phone alert links: tapping an alert now opens the dashboard on the server the alert is about, even when you were managing another server. A link for a server you do not manage with ZeroBot changes nothing and shows a short notice.
- Raid Drill: when a drill ends, the running card and the Drill running badge go away and the report slides in, without a reload. The page checks every few seconds, only while a drill runs and the tab is open.
- Rules quiz without questions: members get the text code instead, characters to type from a picture, on the website and in Discord. In Discord the Enter the code button now opens the form instead of showing the code again. The hint, the preview and the test link now all say the same.
For server owners
- Using the rules quiz? Add at least one question with two answers and a right one, then press Get a test link to see it.
v1.21.1
A new date picker and smoother pages
Picking when something happens now opens one calendar and time picker everywhere on the dashboard, and the website and dashboard move more calmly: panels slide open, the background drifts on its own and the logo always faces you.
- Date and time picker: scheduled messages, giveaways, forms, Event Host, briefings, ticket hours and the other places where you set a date or a time now share one picker. It has a month calendar, hour and minute steppers, quick picks like In 1 hour or Tomorrow, and it shows the timezone the time is saved in. Keyboard arrows work, Esc closes it, and on a phone it opens as a sheet from the bottom.
- Smooth panels: questions on the FAQ pages, Advanced sections, show more lists and other panels now slide open and closed instead of jumping, and their arrows turn with them.
- Hand cursor: every button, tab, switch, menu row and other clickable part of the website and dashboard now shows the hand cursor, and buttons you cannot use yet show that too.
- Calmer background: the outline shapes behind the pages no longer follow your mouse. They drift slowly on their own, and on dashboard pages even more quietly.
- Homepage logo: the 3D logo still moves as you scroll, but it now only sways and always shows its front instead of spinning round to its back.
v1.21.0
New Premium pages and yearly prices
ZeroBot Plus and Pro have their own pages now: an overview, a full comparison, a page per plan, a checkout and the answers to the usual billing questions. Every plan shows its monthly and its yearly price.
- Premium overview: open Premium from the site menu, the dashboard sidebar or the new Upgrade button on a free server. Switch between monthly and yearly and see both plans side by side, with your server's current plan on top.
- Compare every feature: one page lists every ZeroBot module grouped like the sidebar, with what Free, Plus and Pro give in each. Search it, or show only what differs between the plans.
- A page per plan: Plus and Pro each get a page with short live previews of Backups, Time Machine, Server Rework, the bot profile, ZeroBot AI and more, plus everything the plan includes.
- Checkout: pick the server, the plan and monthly or yearly, check the summary, then pay. Monthly plans are bought through Discord's own checkout; yearly plans will be paid on the dashboard once they open. A thank-you page waits and shows when the plan is live on your server.
- Questions answered: billing, cancelling, refunds, switching between Plus and Pro, and what happens when a plan ends (nothing is deleted).
- /premium in Discord: a cleaner card with both plans, their yearly price when a year can be bought, and links to the comparison.
For server owners
- A Premium lock on any dashboard page now opens the plan page at that feature.
v1.20.0
Six new verification methods
Verification has six new ways for members to prove they are people, so you can pick the one that fits your server. Each runs on the same personal links, timer, tries, fail action and roles as before.
- Pick a method: the Verification page now shows every method as a card with where it runs, how easy it is for people and how well it stops bots. The website captcha is the recommended start, and every method is free.
- Discord sign-in check: members sign in with Discord on the verify page (name and ID only, nothing kept), which proves the link is used by the account that joined. Add a minimum account age, require a profile picture, or refuse accounts on the Shield list.
- Rules quiz: write 1 to 5 multiple choice questions about your rules. Members answer in Discord or on the website; you set the wrong tries allowed, a wait after a wrong try and shuffling.
- Picture pick and math picture: "select every picture with a cat" with drawings made for ZeroBot and new every time, with a text code for anyone who cannot see them; or a small sum drawn as a picture, answered in a Discord form.
- One click and press and hold: a single click behind Cloudflare Turnstile, or a press-and-hold button as a light check. Turnstile can also be added on top of any website method.
- Test it yourself: get a ten-minute link that runs your method with the settings on screen, saved or not. Passing gives you no roles and failing changes nothing. A live preview shows what new members see.
- Safe by design: answers never leave ZeroBot, links work once and expire, every answer names its round so an old one cannot be replayed, and the verify page limits tries per connection and per link. Still no DMs: everything happens in your channel, in replies only the member sees, or on the website.
For server owners
- Open Verification on the dashboard, pick a method and press Get a test link before you switch it on.
v1.19.2
Sidebar fix and faster staff tools
Clicking a group in the dashboard sidebar now always opens the group you clicked, and staff tools answer quickly even when Discord is slow.
- Sidebar: a click on a group opens that group, first time. Before, the group of the page you had just left could fold up a moment after the new page arrived, and everything under your pointer jumped, so the click landed on another group. Groups now stay open until you close them, and open in place without sliding.
- Sidebar on reload: the groups you keep open and your pinned pages are there from the first paint, instead of popping in a moment later and pushing the list down.
- Staff tools: they no longer hang when Discord or a game server is slow to answer. They reply within a couple of seconds and say plainly what could not be checked, buttons show that they are working and cannot be sent twice, and a button on a page opened before an update asks you to reload instead of doing nothing.
v1.19.1
Ticket close fix
Closing a ticket from Ticket AI's "This solved it" message works again. Before, the close button showed an error and the ticket stayed open.
- Tickets: pressing "close ticket" after a member marks Ticket AI's answer as solved now closes the ticket, with the usual close message, log card, transcript and rating.
- Older messages too: the close and "keep open" buttons also work on solved messages that were posted before this update, so nothing has to be reposted.
- Closing never gets stuck: if Discord refuses to update a close prompt, ZeroBot still closes the ticket instead of leaving it open.
- Same look: the solved message now uses the same card style as the other close prompts.
v1.19.0
Setting history, phone alerts and a website widget
See who changed what on every settings page and put it back, get alerts on your phone when something serious happens, and show your server on your own website.
- History on every settings page: press History to see each change with who made it and when, field by field, and put any change back with one click. Free servers keep 30 days, Plus and Pro keep 90.
- Phone alerts: install the dashboard on your phone like an app and get a notification when a raid is detected, Anti-Nuke steps in, panic mode turns on, a backup fails or ZeroBot loses permissions. Pick your alerts on the new Phone alerts page. No DMs, ever.
- Website widget: put a small card for your server on your own website with its icon, members online, next event and a Join button. Light or dark, full or compact, copy and paste from the Public Page editor.
- Your data: setting history hides webhook links and keys, and phone alert devices are removed when you unsubscribe or stop managing the server.
v1.18.0
Permission Doctor, raid drills and safer automod
Find risky permissions and fix them in one click, practise a raid safely, test automod rules before they go live, and manage roles for many members at once.
- Permission Doctor: scans every role and channel for risky permissions, explains each one in plain words and fixes it in one click. Every fix can be undone for 24 hours. Use /permission-doctor or the new page under Protection.
- Raid drill: practise a raid in a private test channel. ZeroBot sends fake joins and spam marked as a drill, times how fast your staff react and scores your protection with tips. Nobody real is touched.
- Test before you switch it on: automod and AI moderation can now show what a rule would have caught in the last 7 days, without punishing anyone.
- Auto slowmode: when a channel suddenly floods, ZeroBot turns slowmode up step by step and back down when it calms. Off until you switch it on.
- Bulk roles: give or remove a role for everyone who matches a filter, with a preview first, live progress, cancel and undo. Use /bulk-role or the new page under Members and roles.
- Fix: automod no longer tries to time out members ranked above ZeroBot.
v1.17.0
Meet Zero, a tidier sidebar and a better support server
ZeroBot's mascot Zero joins the website, the dashboard sidebar is sorted into clear folders, verification got a playful new screen, and the support server can now diagnose your setup.
- New verification screen: one box per character with an animation on every key, a fresh picture without losing a try, a countdown, and Zero cheering when you get in. Works on phones and in all 8 languages.
- Meet Zero: ZeroBot's little shield mascot now shows up across the website, a few places at a time, and the whole site picked up the same playful buttons, switches and motion.
- A tidier sidebar: pages are sorted into folders you can open and close, with up to 6 favourites pinned at the top and one search bar for every page and setting.
- Diagnose my setup: open a ticket in the support server and press one button. ZeroBot checks your server for missing permissions, role order problems and broken channels and posts what to fix.
- Vote on ideas: upvote suggestions in the support server and follow what is planned, in progress and shipped on the new public roadmap page.
- Status updates and smarter bug reports: outages and known issues are posted and updated in the support server's status channel with an opt-in ping role, and new bug reports get links to similar earlier ones.
- Server showcase: servers with a public page can show themselves off in the support server.
- Helper rewards: members who answer questions in the support server earn points, the Helper role and free Plus or Pro time.
v1.16.0
Game templates and public server pages
Set up a whole gaming server in one click, give your server its own public page, and see the new Plus and Pro plans.
- 12 game templates: Minecraft SMP, Minecraft PvP, Valorant, Fortnite, League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, Roblox, Apex Legends, GTA Roleplay, Gaming Community and Creator Server. Each one builds channels, roles and permissions, then sets up LFG, a weekly event, stream alerts and a Minecraft status card for you.
- Undo a build: anything the Server Builder added can be removed again for 24 hours, and settings go back to how they were. Free on every server.
- Public server pages: turn on a page for your server with its description, tags, features and a Join button, and get listed in the new server directory. Off until you switch it on, and members only show on its leaderboard if they opt in with /public-page leaderboard.
- ZeroBot Plus and Pro: two plans instead of one Premium. Plus covers the profile, theme, Backups, AI ticket answers and Shield, Pro adds Server Rework, message backups and the highest limits. See them with /premium. Servers that have Premium today keep everything as Pro.
For server owners
- Plus and Pro can't be bought yet. /premium shows them as coming soon until they open on Discord.
v1.15.0
Search every setting
The dashboard search now finds single settings, not just pages, and takes you straight to them.
- Over 1,000 settings searchable: type what you are looking for in the search bar or press Ctrl+K. Results show the setting, the page and section it lives in, a one-line hint and whether it needs Premium.
- Straight to the spot: picking a result opens the page, the right tab or Advanced panel, scrolls to the setting and briefly highlights it.
- Finds what you mean: search for whitelist and you get allowed sites, allowed bots, exempt roles and ignored channels. Blacklist, anti spam, raid, xp, timezone, logs channel and many other everyday words work the same way.
- Typos and languages: small spelling mistakes are forgiven, and searches work in all 8 dashboard languages, with English words working everywhere.
- Faster AI answers: a fix for one of ZeroBot's AI providers, so AI moderation and quick answers no longer take a detour through a backup model.
v1.14.0
Backups v2: your settings and your messages
Server Backups now save everything ZeroBot is set up to do, and can save your channels' recent messages too. Restores show a preview first and can be undone.
- Every ZeroBot setting is backed up: automod, protection, tickets and the ticket desk, welcome messages, logs, levels and reward roles, role menus, panels and Advanced Messages, forms, automations, your rules, Marketplace setups you installed, and every other module.
- Choose what to restore: everything, only settings, only the structure, or single modules and channels. A preview shows what would change, and Undo puts everything back for 24 hours.
- New ids follow along: when channels or roles are recreated, ZeroBot points its settings at the new ones automatically.
- Message backup (switched off until you turn it on): keep the last 50 to 500 messages of the channels you pick, with pins, embeds and small attachments. A restore posts them back in order under the original name and avatar, without pinging anyone.
- Privacy built in: you confirm your members know, message data is deleted after 30 days at most, staff, log, ticket and NSFW channels stay out unless you pick them, and a member's deletion request also removes their messages from backups.
- A clearer Backups page: what each backup contains, storage used, a daily backup time, and progress while a backup runs.
For server owners
- Backups are a Premium feature. To restore messages ZeroBot needs the Manage Webhooks permission, and Manage Messages to pin them again.
v1.13.0
Ask ZeroBot, partnerships, emoji manager, translate, confessions and fun
The last batch of everyday tools: an AI that answers your members, a safe partnership desk, emoji and sticker management, and a few community extras. Everything new starts switched off.
- Ask ZeroBot: pick a channel and ZeroBot answers your members there, from your server's own knowledge first. Every question and answer is screened, it never pings, and a notice tells members their messages go to an AI.
- Translate: a Translate item in any message's Apps menu shows the message in your own Discord language, visible only to you.
- Confessions: members post anonymously with /confess. Every confession is screened before it is posted, each one has a Report button, and the author is kept for 30 days so staff can act on abuse.
- Partnership desk: partner requests come in through a ticket, ZeroBot checks the invite and your requirements, and nothing is posted until staff approve it, only in your own partner channel. Dead partner invites are flagged every week.
- Emoji and sticker manager: add emoji from another server, a link, a file or a message, rename and delete them, see free slots and monthly usage, and install ZeroBot's own icon packs.
- Application extras: staff vote on applications, a waiting time after a rejection, and an interview ticket that opens on accept. The classic positions can move onto Forms with one click.
- Fun pack: /hug, /pat, /highfive and /wave with ZeroBot's own art, a friendly /duo and a free collection to explore. No coins, no wagers, and members can opt out.
For server owners
- Ask ZeroBot and Translate answer up to 100 times a day for free, 1,000 with Premium. Everything else in this update is free.
v1.12.0
Starboard, scam-link lists, Minecraft status, more alerts and XP import
Nine more features that servers usually add other bots for. Everything new starts switched off.
- Link guard: two open scam and phishing lists, refreshed every day, plus per-channel rules: block shorteners, IP loggers, invites, GIFs or all links, or make a channel link-only or media-only. Anyone can also test a link for free at /check-link on the dashboard, no sign-in needed.
- Starboard: messages that collect enough stars are copied to a board with a jump link. Self-stars and bots do not count.
- Minecraft status: watch several servers, see uptime charts for the last day and week, get a message when a server goes down or comes back, and check any of them with /mcstatus.
- More alerts: Kick, Bluesky and Steam game news join YouTube, Twitch, Reddit and RSS. Twitch and Kick can use one live card that updates while the stream runs.
- Invite tracking: fake and rejoin detection, bonus invites for staff to give, an optional join line naming who invited the member, and an optional public top-inviters page.
- Bump reminder and channel automations: a reminder in the channel when the next DISBOARD bump is due, pinging an opt-in role only, plus automations that publish announcements, delete messages after a set time and clean channels on a schedule.
- Bring your levels: import XP from Lurkr or from a MEE6, Amari, Polaris or Lurkr export file, with a preview first and Undo for 24 hours.
For server owners
- ZeroBot never bumps your server by itself: the reminder only follows the bumps your members make.
- Minecraft status keeps 3 servers and 7 days of history for free, 10 servers and 30 days with Premium.
v1.11.0
Levels, role menus, giveaways, temp roles, reminders and AFK
The everyday tools servers usually add other bots for are now built into ZeroBot. New features start switched off, and your existing levels, reaction roles and giveaways keep working.
- Levels: set reward roles right on the Leveling page, choose whether members keep every reward or only the highest, set the XP per message and per voice minute, and manage XP with /xp add, remove, set and reset. Every change is logged.
- Role menus: build role panels with buttons, a select menu or reactions. Modes: normal, only one role, add only, remove only, or a maximum number, and roles can be temporary. Existing reaction-role messages keep working and can be turned into a menu with one click.
- Giveaways: /giveaway now also ends, rerolls, lists, edits and deletes giveaways, and the new Giveaways page creates and schedules them. Add requirements (level, roles, account or server age, invites), bonus entries per role, several winners and a claim window that redraws unclaimed places. Winners are announced in the channel.
- Temporary roles: /temprole gives a role that removes itself after the time you set, even across restarts.
- Role persistence: choose roles that come back when a member leaves and rejoins, for example a mute role. Roles with Administrator are never given back.
- Reminders and AFK: /remind posts your reminder in the same channel at the time you set, once, daily or weekly. /afk lets others know you are away when they mention you. Nothing is ever sent by DM.
For server owners
- Up to 5 running giveaways, 50 temporary roles and 5 reminders per member are free, more with Premium. Role menus, levels and AFK have no limit.
- On ZeroPvP, /giveaway now needs Manage Server instead of Administrator.
v1.10.0
The ticket desk: replies, notes, priorities, transcripts and stats
Eleven upgrades for ZeroBot's tickets, set up on the new Ticket desk page. Everything starts switched off, and your existing panels keep working as before.
- Canned replies and staff notes: send saved answers with /reply or a button, with {user}, {staff} and {ticket} filled in. Staff notes stay private to staff and never show up where the member can read them.
- Member card: staff see the member's account age, join date, earlier tickets, warnings and roles behind one button, without anything new being tracked.
- Transfer, escalate and merge: move a ticket to another topic, bring in the next staff team with one ping, or fold a duplicate into the original. Every step is logged.
- Priority and response targets: low, normal, high or urgent, each with its own time for the first staff reply. A missed target is marked, and with Premium the next team is pinged once. Automatic assignment to free staff members is Premium too.
- Opening hours: outside your hours a ticket opens with the time staff are back, or new tickets wait until you open. Emergency topics always get through.
- Tags, search and full transcripts: tag tickets, search the history by member, staff, tag, topic or words, and read every closed ticket as a clean page or download it. Transcripts are kept 90 days, up to a year with Premium, and are never sent by DM.
- Statistics: tickets per day, time to the first reply and time to close for free. With Premium also missed targets, numbers and ratings per staff member and team, the busiest hours and the top tags.
For server owners
- Open Ticket desk in the dashboard under Support to switch on what you need. Ticket history and Ticket stats sit right below it.
v1.9.0
AI Event Host and a home for gaming communities
ZeroBot can now run your server's events for you, and gaming servers get an LFG board, game presets and a one-click setup. Everything starts switched off.
- AI Event Host: pick a channel and up to four weekly slots, and ZeroBot runs the events itself: trivia quizzes with buttons, speed rounds, word and emoji puzzles, and weekly challenges where members post entries in a thread. Points add up to a season leaderboard, and the weekly winner can get a role and coins.
- Questions: the AI writes quiz questions about your topics or your server's theme, never repeats one, and falls back to your own questions or a built-in bank when it is not available. Every event type is free; AI-written events are capped at 4 a month on the free plan and 30 with Premium.
- Pings only for people who want them: events only ping an opt-in Events role that members switch on and off with a button, never the whole server.
- LFG board: a Find players button opens a short form (mode, rank, region, group size, note) and posts a card others can join. Cards fill up, close themselves, and members can set their rank and region roles from the same panel.
- Gaming hub and setup: presets for Minecraft, Valorant, Fortnite, League of Legends, CS2, Rocket League and any other game. One click sets up the LFG channel, rank and region roles, an events channel with a weekly quiz, live stream alerts and a Minecraft status card, after a preview you confirm. It only adds things, and Undo works for 24 hours.
- New public page: /gaming shows everything ZeroBot does for gaming servers.
For server owners
- Event Host lives under Community, the Gaming hub under Build. ZeroBot's own role has to sit above the reward and rank roles it hands out.
v1.8.0
Rules in plain words, Polish with AI, welcome tests and benchmarks
Write your rules like you would explain them to a friend and ZeroBot enforces them, let AI polish any text you write, test two welcome messages against each other, and see how your server compares. All of it starts switched off.
- Rules in plain words: write your server rules as normal text, or import them from your rules channel. ZeroBot turns them into rule cards you can edit, and once you confirm, it enforces them. Every action quotes the exact rule that was broken, unsure cases go to the mod queue, and staff get Undo and False positive buttons.
- Polish with AI: a button on welcome messages, ticket panels, application questions, Advanced Messages, forms, sticky and scheduled messages and more. Write in plain words, pick a tone (friendly, professional, hype or short), compare before and after, and keep the version you like. Placeholders like {user} always survive.
- Welcome A/B test: new members get welcome version A or B at random. ZeroBot shows which one keeps more people after 24 hours and 7 days and gets more of them talking, and only calls a winner when the numbers are clear.
- How you compare: the Insights page shows how your growth, retention, activity and moderation compare with servers of a similar size, as anonymous percentiles. No other server's name or numbers are ever shown.
- Limits: 20 polishes and 100 AI rule checks a day on the free plan, 200 and 2,000 with Premium.
For server owners
- Rules are only enforced after you confirm the rule list and switch the module on at /rules.
- Comparisons appear once enough servers of your size have data. Your server can leave the anonymous numbers on the same page.
v1.7.0
Switch in 60 seconds, Shield Network and ZeroBot inside Discord
Three new features: move your setup over from other bots, let servers warn each other about dangerous accounts, and control ZeroBot without leaving Discord. All of them start switched off.
- Import from other bots: /import or the Import page finds MEE6, Carl-bot, Dyno, YAGPDB and other bots in your server and takes over what is visible: reaction roles, level roles, the join role, the welcome text, log channels, the mute role and Discord's AutoMod keywords. You check everything in a preview first, and Undo puts your old ZeroBot settings back for 30 days.
- Shield Network: servers that join warn each other. When ZeroBot is certain an account posted scams, tried to nuke a server or came in a raid wave, other Shield servers get a card in their log when that account joins, with Kick, Ban and Trust here buttons. Warnings are free; automatic quarantine, kick or ban needs Premium.
- Fair by design: one server alone can never list someone, entries carry evidence and expire on their own, and anyone can check their own record at /shield/check and appeal at /shield/appeal.
- ZeroBot as a Discord Activity: a compact control panel that opens inside Discord, with your security score, raid mode, the panic button, module switches and the latest cases. It goes live as soon as Activities are switched on for ZeroBot.
- Footer: Account reputation and Appeal a blacklist now lead to the new Shield pages.
For server owners
- Shield Network is off until you switch it on at /shield-network. Only servers older than 30 days with at least 50 members count as reporters.
- Nothing is imported until you confirm the preview, and ZeroBot never removes or edits the other bot.
v1.6.0
A new front page and public pages
The ZeroBot website shows what the bot does before you add it, with new pages anyone can open without signing in.
- Front page: new sections show the problems ZeroBot solves (raids, hacked admins, scam links, support lost in DMs) and what each part of the bot looks like in Discord and in the dashboard.
- Top bar: stays on screen while you scroll, gets smaller once you scroll down, and has a menu on phones.
- New pages: Features (every module in one list), Documentation, Changelog (every release, newest first), Statistics, Security tips (10 steps to lock down a server) and Cookies (every cookie the dashboard sets).
- Footer: links to all of these, the setup guide, the status page, the support server, voting and the legal pages.
- Languages: everything new is in all 8 dashboard languages.
v1.5.1
Server Builder templates stay visible
A dashboard fix: clicking a template in the Server Builder no longer makes it vanish.
- Server Builder: clicking a template card could make that card, and sometimes the one next to it, disappear until the page was reloaded. Every card now stays on screen when you pick it.
- Everywhere else in the dashboard: the same fix covers any card that changes its look when you select it, so no box fades away after a click.
- Nothing to do: reload the dashboard once and the fix is active.
v1.5.0
A clean new icon set
ZeroBot's own messages, cards and buttons now use a set of clean white icons drawn for ZeroBot, instead of regular emojis.
- Icons everywhere: logs, moderation and automod cards, verification, applications, welcome and leave messages, giveaways, leaderboards, status cards and community boards use the new white icons.
- Tickets: the help centre, ticket panels and every staff button (claim, close, close with reason, confirm, keep open, suggest a reply, and Ticket AI's take over, staff and solved) carry the new icons. A panel that still has ZeroBot's default button emoji shows the white ticket icon.
- Your own content stays: messages you wrote and emojis you picked are never changed. A default message you never edited, like the leave, boost or giveaway winner message, uses the new icon.
- Works in every server: the icons belong to ZeroBot itself, so they show without Nitro and on both the dark and the light theme. While they load after an update, the old emojis show instead.
- Where emojis stay: channel names, forum tags, reactions and button labels keep regular emojis, because Discord only shows standard emojis there.
- In the dashboard: the message previews (welcome, leave, boost, giveaways, level-ups, server status, the Server Builder) show the new icons, and the emoji boxes of ticket panels, custom message buttons and automation buttons have a ZeroBot icons picker, so your own panels can use the set too.
For server owners
- Nothing to set up. Panels ZeroBot posted before this update show the new icons once they are saved or posted again from the dashboard.
v1.4.2
ZeroBot is now a verified Discord app
Discord has verified ZeroBot. Nothing changes in your server, and every setting stays as it is.
- Verified by Discord: ZeroBot is now a verified Discord app, and its profile shows Discord's verified check.
- No server limit: unverified bots can only join 100 servers. That limit is gone, so anyone can add ZeroBot to their server.
- App Directory: ZeroBot is listed in Discord's App Directory, so server owners can find it and add it from inside Discord.
v1.4.1
Dashboard themes stay while you look around
A fix for the Premium dashboard themes: a look you are still trying out no longer snaps back when you leave the Appearance page.
- Appearance: changes you have not saved yet now stay on screen on every page, so you can see how your new look feels across the whole dashboard.
- Save from anywhere: while a look is unsaved, a small bar at the bottom lets you save it, discard it or go back to editing it.
- Picks up where you left off: opening the Appearance page again brings back your unsaved changes instead of starting over.
v1.4.0
More free features and referrals
Tickets, applications and screening lose their Premium limits, sticky and scheduled messages get more room on the free plan, and servers can now earn Premium by referring new servers.
- Tickets: ticket panels and multi-panels have no limit on any plan. The free plan had 5 panels and 3 multi-panels.
- Applications: every server can ask up to 20 questions per position. The free plan had 10.
- Sticky and scheduled messages: 10 of each on the free plan instead of 3. Premium still allows 25.
- Screening: profile screening and the strict chat filter work on every plan. The AI check of posted images, avatars and banners runs up to 50 times a day per server on the free plan and 1,000 with Premium; the word, name and link checks have no limit.
- Referrals: /refer and the new Referrals page on the dashboard show your server's referral link and code. When a new server adds ZeroBot through the link, or its owner enters the code within 7 days, your server gets 14 days of Premium once that server has kept ZeroBot for 3 days and has at least 20 members. Up to 5 referrals are paid a month, your own servers do not count, and nobody gets a DM.
- Invite button: /help and the welcome card ZeroBot posts when it joins now have an Invite ZeroBot button, to add it to another server.
- ZeroBot AI: one of its AI providers retired the models ZeroBot asked first, which made answers slow. ZeroBot now uses that provider's current models, so AI moderation and short answers come back faster.
For server owners
- If you turned on the strict chat filter or profile screening before and they did nothing on the free plan, they run now.
- The privacy policy now covers referrals: which server referred which, and when. It is linked at the bottom of every dashboard page.
- Did ZeroBot join your server in the last 7 days through someone's recommendation? The owner can enter their code on the Referrals page.
v1.3.0
Warnings, and more of ZeroBot for free
Warnings get their own commands and log channel, /massban is gone, and several features that had a Premium limit are now free and unlimited on every server.
- Warnings: /warn gives a member a warning with a reason, /warnings lists a member's active warnings with their case numbers, and /unwarn takes one back by its case number. Each warning is a numbered case, shows in /history and Member 360, and the member is never sent a DM.
- Warnings log channel: pick a channel on the Command Access page and every warning, and every removed warning, is posted there as a card with the case number, the member, the moderator, the reason and their active warnings. Without one, the cards go to your mod log channel.
- /massban removed: banning a pasted list of user ids in one go was too risky in the wrong hands. /ban still works one member at a time, and Anti-Nuke and raid mode still handle raids.
- Free and unlimited: welcome, leave and boost messages, every log type and log channel, reaction roles and self roles, and Advanced Messages (the free plan had 5) now have no Premium limit on any server.
- All case types free: timeouts and warnings are filed as punishment cases, with a forum post when you have a punishments forum, on every plan, not only with Premium.
- Command Access: /warn, /warnings and /unwarn are listed there like the other moderation commands, so you can hand them to your staff roles.
For server owners
- To keep warnings apart from the rest of the mod log, choose a warnings log channel under Moderation commands on the Command Access page.
- Who sees /warn, /warnings and /unwarn follows the Timeout Members permission until you pick staff roles for them on the Command Access page.
v1.2.0
New modules, moderation commands, eight languages and free Premium
Everything that shipped since v1.1.0: new modules, a full set of moderation commands, a faster dashboard in eight languages, and Premium for every new server. New modules start switched off.
- New modules: Command Center, Security Center (one security score for your server), Mod Queue, Insights, Growth, Economy, Forms, Studio and Automations. The sidebar is regrouped so each section stays short.
- New tools, off until you turn them on: a panic button, Staff Watch (flags staff actions that are unusual for that person), a lookalike link guard, Ask your server, a morning briefing for staff, reputation, server quests, a public live server map and a monthly server story.
- Moderation commands: /ban, /unban, /softban, /kick, /timeout, /untimeout, /purge, /slowmode, /lock, /unlock, /nick, /role, /case, /note, /history and /massban. The new Command Access page sets which staff roles may use each command.
- Bot approval: a bot added to your server waits in quarantine without its permissions until the server owner allows it.
- Time Machine and ZeroBot AI: Time Machine records every change to your server and can rewind it. ZeroBot AI can now set up every module through a preview you can edit first, and Server Builder sets role permissions and channel access.
- Free Premium: every server that adds ZeroBot gets 30 days of Premium. Premium servers can also give the dashboard their own theme.
- Dashboard: now in eight languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Polish and Italian) with a new language picker, loads and saves much faster, and you can upload images straight into every image field.
- Marketplace creator rewards: publish a setup to the Marketplace, and every 10 servers that install it earn you 7 days of Premium credit.
For server owners
- Every new module and tool is off until you switch it on from its own page on the dashboard.
- Choose your dashboard language at /settings/language on the dashboard.
v1.1.0
New protection modules, four languages and a status page
Five new protection modules, finer settings for the modules you already use, and a dashboard in four languages. Everything new starts switched off.
- New protection modules: AI moderation (rates messages for toxicity, harassment, hate, sexual content, threats and self-harm, with Undo and False positive on every action), a honeypot channel (whoever posts there is timed out, kicked or banned), anti-impersonation for names that copy your staff or ZeroBot, a risk score for new members, and detection of coordinated raid waves.
- Advanced settings on 20 modules: active hours, which channels and roles a module covers, minimum account age, an escalation ladder (warn, timeout, kick), cooldowns and log options. Each module page has them in a collapsed Advanced card, and they change nothing until you set them.
- General settings: your server's timezone and date format, quiet mode (modules stop posting public notices, logs still go to your log channels), and limits per slash command by role or channel.
- Verification lock: hides every other channel until a member verifies. You see a preview before it changes anything, and Undo puts the old channel permissions back.
- Dashboard languages: the dashboard is now in English, German, French and Spanish. It follows your browser and has a language switcher.
- Status page: a public page at /status on the dashboard shows whether ZeroBot and the dashboard are up, with 90 days of uptime. ZeroBot's own status now rotates between the server count, its version and that address.
- New dashboard look: a new front page and server picker, and reworked pages in one purple theme.
- Adding ZeroBot: the invite asks for Administrator only. After joining, ZeroBot posts a welcome card and a permission status card in your server, and sends one welcome DM to the person who added it, never to anyone else.
For server owners
- The new modules are off until you switch them on, each from its own page on the dashboard.
- The permission status card lists anything ZeroBot cannot reach yet, such as roles placed above its own.
